A Case of Dissecting Aortic Aneurysm

Abstract
|
|
|
Dissecting aneurysms of the aorta have intrigued physicians for decades not only because of their catastrophic nature but also because of their extremely varied clinical manifestations.
In recent years the prompt and accurate diagnosis of aortic dissection has assumed more than academic importance because of the development of treatment which favorably alters the former dismal prognosis.
We report a case of dissecting aneurysm of the aorta in a forty-one years man who has a good result by surgical correction.
